The Greatest Showman’s Rebecca Ferguson Secretly Marries in Intimate Holiday Wedding
Mission: Impossible — Fallout actress Rebecca Ferguson is married. The Swedish star revealed this week that she had secretly married husband Rory in an intimate holiday wedding.
“[We played a lot of games, got married,” the Greatest Showman actress, 35, told Extra. “I think we both wanted to step over all thresholds. Also, I’m not very religious. I believe in love… It was more for us and our family.”
In line with the intimate theme was a cozy destination and venue. “We rented a cottage with friends and family,” she shared. “Wellington boots and big woolly socks and big ruggy jumpers. Games, snooker [a pool-type sport], table tennis…”
The unique vision filtered down to her wedding day look. “I wore a beautiful skirt—a wedding skirt—that I can shorten off, get some pockets in,” she mused, adding that the piece served an extended purpose. “I’ll use it in Greece for the summer,” she added.
Now that she’s married, Ferguson is enjoying life at home with her new husband and the kids (she’s mom to an 11-year-old son named Isaac from a former relationship and shares a daughter with her new husband).
“We keep saying, ‘Hey, hubby!’ ‘Hey, wifey!’” she added. “It’s just fun.”
