Great Wolf Lodge's unexpected water attraction puts damper on fun in Perryville

There was a new and unexpected water attraction at the Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, Maryland.

According to social media posts, it appears that the indoor water park's lobby was flooded on Thursday.

In a TikTok video posted by oldlady410301, water park employees are seen hurriedly moving large empty containers to collect water falling from the ceiling while Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" (the love theme from the movie "Titanic") plays. Water is seen dripping from above, causing accumulation on the floor, while patrons curiously observe the situation.

Great Wolf Lodge officials did not immediately return a request for comments on Sunday. Reports indicate that a pipe burst caused the flooding. According to social media comments, guest rooms lost water.

Christina Buchanan, a Great Wolf Lodge guest during the incident, said in a Facebook post the flooding caused the postponement of a few of the scheduled entertainment offerings, but it was minimal. The post noted that by the next day, the lobby floor was only damp and the water had been restored.

Guests were reportedly offered refunds and a voucher for a future overnight stay at the resort due to water loss in their rooms.
