There are perfectly good celebrity style moments, and then there are the looks that really stick with you, the ones you try desperately to recreate at home. In 'Great Outfits in Fashion History,' Fashionista editors are revisiting their all-time favorite lewks.

I said it once (okay, more like a hundred times), and I'll say again: Zendaya is the trendsetter of our generation — has been since her Disney Channel days, continues to be beyond then. Point, blank, period.

Ask me which is my favorite outfit of hers, and I'll give you a list of looks that are all tied for the number-one spot. But, one I have to give attention to from the archives is her 2014 Teen Choice Awards look. The actor showed up on the blue carpet in a bright-pink keyhole halter dress with side cutouts and an open back: a custom piece from Material Girl, the Macy's line created in collaboration with Madonna and daughter Lourdes Leon.

The hot-pink number was Zendaya's ode the Queen of Pop, inspired by a dress Madonna wore in the 1984 "Material Girl" music video.

Of course, if there's one thing Zendaya has taught me, it's that the beauty look is just as important as the fashion. Her fun-yet-sophisticated look continued with a shaggy bob, bold lashes and soft blush.

She accessorized with chunky silver jewelry, a sequined clutch and pink patent-leather Christian Louboutin heels.

She may have been a Material Girl, but we're living in Zendaya's world. Scroll through the gallery below to shop dresses inspired by her 2014 Teen Choice Awards look.
