There are perfectly good celebrity style moments, and then there are the looks that really stick with you, the ones you try desperately to recreate at home. In 'Great Outfits in Fashion History,' Fashionista editors are revisiting their all-time favorite lewks.

Here's the thing about Tracee Ellis Ross: She has it — that undefinable charismatic factor she undoubtedly inherited from her mother, Diana Ross. It's apparent when you watch her act, walk the red carpet and listen to her talk in every interview. But where that "It" factor truly shines is in her style.

At a party ahead of the 2004 Grammys, the then-31-year old arrived in a multi-colored, abstract-print Roberto Cavalli slip dress featuring a subtle V-neckline, fitted top and an asymmetrical seam a few inches below the hips that flared into a flowy bottom. Ross opted for a bare décolletage, accessorizing with large gold hoops, a stack of bracelets, gold strappy wedges and a light-pink clutch.

Tying the look together was her shoulder-length voluminous curls and perfectly-applied makeup: a bronze-gold eyeshadow paired with a matching pink blush and lipstick.
