There are perfectly good celebrity style moments, and then there are the looks that really stick with you, the ones you try desperately to recreate at home. In 'Great Outfits in Fashion History,' Fashionista editors are revisiting their all-time favorite lewks.

If anyone knows how to put together a certified classic red carpet look, it's Sarah Jessica Parker. There's the deliciously-Y2K Oscar de la Renta collabs, that naked dress.... Even her elaborate headpieces at the Met Gala have cemented themselves into culture.

Lesser-known — yet arguably as iconic — is her look at the 1992 premiere of her film, "Honeymoon in Vegas," which wouldn't look out of place in the year 2023. The dress itself was simple: two straps, black shade, rounded neckline. Classic, sure, but nothing to write home about.

The real star, which catapulted it into "recreate 30 years later" territory, was Parker's jewelry. She artfully layered two glittering necklaces — each a statement piece in its own right — over the minimalist dress, one skimming the neckline while the other swung below.

Religious iconography has always found its way into fashion, whether that's through cross jewelry or angel imagery or events like the 2018 "Heavenly Bodies" Met Gala (where Parker executed the theme to a T). This look was perhaps ahead of its time — at least in the meshing of minimalist clothing with ornate, layered jewelry — but feels just right in 2023.

To emulate the "Sex and the City" star's outfit, shop the necklaces and dresses below.
