There are perfectly good celebrity style moments, and then there are the looks that really stick with you, the ones you try desperately to recreate at home. In 'Great Outfits in Fashion History,' Fashionista editors are revisiting their all-time favorite lewks.

Hey, quick question: Was Jennifer Lopez on the "Bridgerton" costume department's inspiration board? If not, it's time to make some calls to Shonda Rhimes' office and suggest a couple of looks — specifically the floral column dress Lopez wore to the 1997 IFP/West Independent Spirit Awards.

Of course, I recognize that the gown is far from what would've been worn during London's early-1800s Regency era. But details such as the subtle puff sleeves and metallic-lined floral print make this worthy of any diamond of the season. (There's also a chance I'm projecting my excitement for "Bridgerton" season three onto this outfit, but I'm opting to live in ignorant bliss.)

Paired with a fresh face, high updo and simple accessories — a heart-shaped pendant, white bracelet and open-toe T-strap heels — it's clear Lopez wanted the dress to be the star of the show. Beyond its "Bridgerton"-esque essence, it's easy to imagine wearing this floral number (or one like it) for any upcoming spring activities. If you want to curate your spring wardrobe around Lopez's '90s style, look no further — shop our picks, below.
