Great News for Kermit & Friends: Disney's New Streaming Service Will Feature a Muppets Reboot

Fantastic news for grown-ups and kids alike: Kermit, Miss Piggy and all of our favorite muppets are back in a brand-new reboot.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the whole gang will be making an appearance on Disney’s new streaming service that’s said to be launching in fall 2019. The as-yet-unnamed platform is being dubbed as a competitor to Netflix and will apparently feature reboots of other Disney classics like The Parent TrapFather of the Bride and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.

Details about the new service (like when exactly it will be available and how much it will cost) are still being kept under wraps. But according to insider sources, other titles with potential reboots in the works include High School Musical and a TV version of The Mighty Ducks. And to that news, we have only one thing to say: Thank you very much, Mr. Ducksworth Disney!
