The Great British Baking Show is coming back really soon.

The beloved U.K.-based baking competition show, starring judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood, recently shared exciting news on their social media channels that a new season will be premiering on Wednesday, March 9, 2021.

As it turns out, upcoming episodes will be part of The Great British Baking Show spinoff called The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off. First premiering in March of 2018, the newest season of the spinoff will feature various British celebrities as they take on a series of baking challenges and raise money for the fundraising campaign Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C).

Right away, many rushed to the comments section to express how excited they were about the upcoming series. "Woop! So exciting!!" Great British Baking Show 2018 champion Dr. Rahul Mandal wrote on Instagram. "Yay. Alarm set. Really looking forward to it!" another fan said. "👏👏👏👏👏 cannot wait!!!," someone else commented.

Amid all of the excited commenters were fans asking a lot of different questions. "Where's Noel Fielding?" one asked after noticing the cohost wasn't in the promo photo. "Anyone know how we can watch from the US?" another inquired. A different fan also wrote, "Can it come on Netflix?! Pleaseeee."

To help viewers out, we're sharing below what we know:

Will the new season of The Great British Baking Show be on Netflix?

Historically, most U.S. viewers have been able to enjoy The Great British Baking Show on either Netflix or PBS. While Netflix has hosted previous seasons of The Great British Baking Show along with various holiday specials, the streaming platform does not currently house any of The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off seasons. Knowing that, we're predicting that the newest season will likely not be available on Netflix. At this point, it's unclear whether PBS will carry the series either.

Unfortunately, Noel won't be joining his fellow cohost Matt Lucas in the tent this spring. According to Metro, Noel is skipping the season to be at home following the birth of his second child, a baby girl named Iggy, with his partner, Lliana Bird. The couple is also parents to a daughter named Dali, whom they welcomed in 2018.
