Emmy-winning actor, singer and comedian Leslie Jordan has died at the age of 67. His agent confirmed that the Will & Grace star was involved in a fatal car crash in Hollywood on the morning of October 24.

Sarabeth Schedeen made a statement to CNN following the tragic news of Leslie's death saying, "The world is definitely a much darker place today without the love and light of Leslie Jordan. Not only was he a mega talent and joy to work with, but he provided an emotional sanctuary to the nation at one of its most difficult times. What he lacked in height he made up for in generosity and greatness as a son, brother, artist, comedian, partner and human being. Knowing that he has left the world at the height of both his professional and personal life is the only solace one can have today."

Fans and celebrities alike have begun leaving their condolences and favorite memories with the late actor.

His Will and Grace co-stars, Sean Hayes and Eric McCormack, posted particularly heartfelt tributes.

"My heart is broken. Leslie Jordan was one of the funniest people I ever had the pleasure of working with. Everyone who ever met him, loved him. There will never be anyone like him. A unique talent with an enormous, caring heart. You will be missed, my dear friend," Sean, who played Jack, wrote.

"Crushed to learn about the loss of @thelesliejordan, the funniest & flirtiest southern gent I’ve ever known. The joy and laughter he brought to every one of his #WillandGrace episodes was palpable. Gone about thirty years too soon. You were loved, sweet man," Eric, who played Will, posted.

As a veteran actor, Leslie's legacy will live on through his beloved roles. In addition to Will and Grace, for which he earned an Emmy Award in 2006 for Guest Actor in a Comedy Series, he starred in The Help, Call Me Kat and American Horror Story.

Prior to these roles, Leslie created his first autobiographical stage show in 1993 titled Hysterical Blindness and Other Southern Tragedies That Have Plagued My Life Thus Far that portrayed the actor's early life in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His 2009 book My Trip Down the Pink Carpet also documented the actor's big move from Tennessee to Hollywood.

Along with his fan-favorite roles on the big screen, Leslie quickly garnered millions of followers on social media due to his shining personality and hilarious demeanor.

Leslie's official Instagram account posted this tribute following the devastating news announcing that fans will be able to get "a glimpse of a project Leslie was really proud of and was looking forward to sharing with the world."
