Charlotte Casiraghi, Grace Kelly's Granddaughter, Had a Royal Wedding This Weekend
Monaco's Charlotte Casiraghi, Princess Caroline's daughter and Princess Grace's granddaughter, has just tied the knot with her film producer beau Dimitri Rassam. Here, all the details on the couple's royal wedding.
The couple's religious wedding took place this weekend, in the south of France.
Guests arrived in coaches, which took a scenic route to the wedding venue-the Abbaye Sainte-Marie de Pierredon, outside St. Remy de Provence. "It is this particular love of Provence she wants to share with her family and friends," a source told People. As with Casiraghi and Rassam's earlier civil ceremony, Princess Caroline and Prince Albert were among the attendees.
The bride wore a stunning Giambattista Valli dress, which bore a similarity to her mother Princess Caroline's 1978 wedding gown. For his part, Rassam sported a light gray suit, paired with a gray vest, blue shirt, and mustard tie.

The civil ceremony took place earlier in June.
Blue-blooded attendees included Princess Caroline of Hanover (the bride's mother), Monaco's current reigning monarch, Prince Albert (the bride's uncle), and his wife Princess Charlene. Albert and Charlene's twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, also made an appearance, per People.
Casiraghi and Rassam tied the knot in the state rooms of Monaco's royal palace. It's the very same palace where Casiraghi's grandmother Grace Kelly wed Prince Rainier in 1956.
Afterwards, the guests reportedly fêted the newlyweds in a reception at Villa La Vigie, per People.
At wedding number one, the bride wore Saint Laurent and Cartier.
For the ceremony, Casiraghi opted for a gray brocade minidress, designed by Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent. White stilettos and minimalist jewelry finished off the look.
Casiraghi turned it up a notch for the reception, changing into a strapless Chanel gown. The real highlight, however, was around the bride's neck. Casiraghi wore the very same Cartier diamond necklace that had been gifted to her grandmother, Grace Kelly, for her wedding to Prince Rainier in 1956. The couple's children reportedly attended the ceremony.
Casiraghi and Rassam each have a child from a previous marriage, as well as one together. Rassam's seven-year-old daughter Darya, Casiraghi's five-year-old son Raphael, and their seven-month old son Balthazar were all reportedly at the civil ceremony, per Vogue.
