'Will & Grace' Actors Reunite for 25th Anniversary in Sweet Nostalgic Photo

Debra Messing and Eric McCormack officially reunited!

The Will & Grace co-stars were in New York City at The Paley Center For Media on Monday, June 5 for "The Impact Of Will & Grace: 25 Years Later" event.

The former cast mates posed for a sweet photo on the red carpet, embracing each other with their arms wrapped around one another and hands interlocked.

Messing, 54, donned a bright pink pantsuit that featured flared bottoms, along with a black bustier top. As for her glam, she rocked her signature red locks in curly waves and opted for a glamorous makeup look that featured dark eyeliner and light pink lipgloss.

McCormack, 60, opted for a gray-blue suit jacket that included a navy blue shirt underneath and black pants while tying the look together with brown dress shoes.

While on the red carpet, the two stars spoke about the impact that Will & Grace had on the LGBTQ+ community back when it first aired in 1998.

"The social and political aspect that it ultimately had was meaningful and obviously we have a very long way to go, but we've come away in 25 years," Messing told Access Hollywood. "And to be lucky enough to be a part of just taking another step forward towards equality is a privilege."

When asked if she was aware of the impact the show was making at the time, she responded, "At first we thought we would be canceled, but by the third season we realized that the show was beloved, that the characters were beloved, and we were representing a community that had never been represented on primetime television before, and it felt important and exciting."

McCormack mentioned that he didn't realize the impact it made at the time, stating, "not only people who perhaps don't know a lot of gay people watching the show, but their kids were over their shoulder passing through the living room going 'huh?'"

He continued: "Those are the kids I've heard from over the years. Kids who are now in their 20s or their 30s who saw their parents, who they were terrified of coming out to, laughing and enjoying these characters and accepting them."

Will & Grace ran for 11 seasons from 1998 to 2020—with season 8 concluding in 2006 before new seasons were greenlit in 2017.
