This GQ Designer Gets Dressed With a Little Help From His Friend
Supporting your friends is easy when, like GQ digital designer C.J. Robinson, your friends happen to be extremely talented fashion designers. C.J. bought this standout sherpa tank top from his buddy Andrew Campbell’s brand NAWDRË. The moment he laid eyes on the fuzzy layering piece, C.J. says, "I knew I just needed it in my wardrobe—because it's simply dope, and also because I love supporting another young Black designer.”
When it comes to building fits around the tank, C.J. likes to keep things clean and simple. “A monochromatic look has been my go to lately,” he says. “I love mixing textures and shades with a neutral earth tone look.” The results, as you can see, speak for themselves.
For another look at C.J.’s sharp tonal style—and for more installments of #StaffStyle—don’t forget to follow @GQ on Instagram.
