If you are a newbie to the Aldi game, you probably wonder what the fuss is about. Every Wednesday Aldi releases a new group of specialty and/or seasonal products that are only available for a limited time.

If you have ever seen someone boasting on social media about "finding the coveted Aldi item" THIS is what they are talking about. Aldi super fans have been known to line up to be the first through the doors to find the latest popular item.

When you decide to jump into the madness, you can find all of these bargains in the Aldi Finds aisles, which is usually located in the center of the store.

What can I buy at Aldi for the holidays?

Everything. That about covers it. You see, Aldi has been my go-to store for any holiday meal, my big New Year's Eve spread, yummy desserts (since I am not the best baker) and even gifts!

I can buy anything I need for any holiday occasion and save money too. And when I wander into the Aldi Finds aisles, I always find something I didn't even know I needed, but there it is my cart when I check out.

I am always excited to share what Aldi is debuting every month, but I'm extra thrilled this month because these Finds are sure to get you into the festive spirit!

1. Specially Selected Mini Cinnamon Swirl Pastries $4.99

These would be perfect for a quick Christmas morning breakfast or brunch. They look flaky and filled with cinnamon flavor. Want to make it extra fun? Serve some warm, ooey-gooey icing on the side for dipping.

2. Specially Selected Cold Smoked Salmon Trio $12.99

Every New Year's Eve, we stay home and I make a huge spread of appetizers, which always includes smoked salmon from Aldi. This year I can't wait to try this trio of flavors, especially the mojito one! This great grocery is another reminder that holiday entertaining doesn't have to be complicated.

Frozen vegetables are so great in the winter when fresh produce isn't the best here in the Midwest, but sometimes I find myself in a rut serving the same ones repeatedly. 6. Season's Choice Loaded Potato Tots $3.99

It's had to top tater tots, but these might have actually accomplished that feat. Cheese and bacon on the inside and a crispy coating on the outside make these potato puffs extra crave-worthy. Pro Tip: Use these to top your next tater tot casserole.
