We Got the Details on Eris Baker’s Stunning Emmys 2019 Look

ICYMI, 14-year-old This Is Us actress Eris Baker showed up to the Emmy’s purple carpet last night dressed to the nines, with Euphoria-esque glitter face makeup and a glistening headpiece to boot. Finally, after some of the commotion of last night’s ceremony has died down, we’re getting the full scoop on how Eris and her stylist Neishea Lemle put together the look they liken to a “New Age futuristic princess.”

Let’s start with the dress: Eris wore a light gray, off-the-shoulder gown with cascading layers of tulle made by designer Tadashi Shoji. She accessorized with silver dangling earrings and plenty of rings (made by Hearts on Fire), plus a stunning silver headpiece (put together by hairstylist Tinisha Boyd) that I probably won’t stop talking about at least until next year’s Emmys. About the entire head-to-toe look, Eris and her stylist sent over the below:

“We wanted to capture Eris’s true elegance and grace, so we wanted to go with a softer color palette, the Tadashi Shoji gown in the end was just what we envisioned. We opted out of your typical tiara and chose to unleash her boldness by paying homage to a true queen — Josephine Baker, who shares Eris’s namesake and is noted for her civil rights contributions — through a custom beaded headpiece by hairstylist Tinisha Boyd and Hearts on Fire rings.”

On the beauty front, Eris prepped her skin with the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrogel Mask, Mario Badescu Rose Water Facial Spray and Embryolisse Lait Creme before her makeup artist, Camilla Ariane, got to work. To achieve her ethereal makeup look, Ariane began with Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Primer before layering on Uoma Beauty Say What?! Weightless Soft Matte Foundation. On the eyes, Eris sported NYX Cosmetics Vivid Brights Creme Colour in Love Overdose, Stila Glitter and Glow Eyeshadow in Sea Siren, Juvia’s Place Masquerade Eyeshadow Palette, and Neutrogena HydroBoost Plumping Mascara.

Those glittered cheeks we couldn’t get enough of were courtesy of Lemonhead LA Seapunk and Birthday Cake Spacejam Luxe Glitter Jam and MAC Cosmetics Peachy Keen Blush topped with OMGLO Cosmetics Glowed Up Highlighting Finishing Spray. Lastly, Eris painted her pout with Fenty Beauty Diamond Milk Gloss Bomb.

Eris’s look for the after-party circuit was just as fierce: She donned a bright orange, one-shoulder tulle dress, which she cooly paired with pink lace-up sneakers. She kept on her gorgeous sparkling headpiece, but swapped out her silver star earrings for a more colorful pair. Her makeup got a quick and colorful update courtesy of a swipe of orange eyeliner on her bottom lash line (the glitter cheeks, which we love, stayed put).

And what was the first thing Eris did when she arrived back home at night’s end? “After coming home from a big event I always wash my face. I’m a teenager and you know skin is so tricky at 14!” We’d say she’s wise beyond her years.
