Gossip Girl is officially back.

At midnight on Thursday, HBO released the first trailer for next month's reboot of the beloved early-aughts teen drama. The first official glimpse at the next generation of Upper East Siders packs a lot into just two minutes and ten seconds—there are threesomes, bath house rendezvouses, a Christopher John Rogers runway show, and Kristen Bell's famously smug narration—and it's all soundtracked by none other than Frank Ocean's timeless (and, in this case, slightly biographical) track "Super Rich Kids." We're not afraid to admit it gave us chills.

The new trailer provides a look into what the showrunners have been teasing in the months leading up to its release: a visibly more diverse, more inclusive, and more queer adaption of the best-selling Cecily von Ziegesar book franchise—without sacrificing any of the drama that has captured the attention of anticipating fans over the years.

"I was like, 'You know what, I'd like to do some things we were unable to do the first time around,'" showrunner Joshua Safran told The Hollywood Reporter about bringing back the series. "And that's what kept me up at night—a more inclusive show, a more queer show, looking at how social media has changed in the 12 years since the original Gossip Girl—and then I couldn't get that out of my head. There is actually a very different concept this time around, but we're not telling you. And that made me be like, 'Sure, it's 10 episodes.' Maybe that's all it'll be, but I'm really glad to look at it in a new way. It's different than most reboots."

Twitter was quick to show its excitement over the reboot too. Gossip Girl has been steadily trending since the trailer's late-night release with fans collectively deciding that the reboot will indeed be must-watch TV. Read the best reactions from Gossip Girl superfans below.
