There’s a lot to love about The Royal Mansour Marrakech. The palatial resort spans 12 lush acres, offers in-depth wellness programs in its 27,000-square-foot spa, sports private, multi-story riads to stretch out in, and perhaps most importantly, four restaurants that celebrate global and local cuisine. Those dining options at the famed resort include La Table, which offers French cuisine, Sesamo, which offers Italian bites, La Grande Table Marocaine, a Moroccan fine dining restaurant, and Le Jardin, a gourmet restaurant honoring the local foods found only in Marrakech.

While guests can most certainly savor the meals found in each of these destinations punctuating the hotel, now, they can walk away with new skills on how to make all the gorgeous dishes too, thanks to the newly launched Royal Mansour Cooking School.

The cooking classes, each led by the hotel’s talented chefs, are open to all guests, including everyone from experts in the kitchen to complete novices. Students will gather around the hotel kitchen’s massive island to cook alongside the chefs for two-hour demonstrations. Classes are available across three culinary themes, including its Moroccan Cooking Class, which a spokesperson for the hotel explained is a “culinary exploration of traditional Moroccan recipes, such as the classic chicken tagine with olives and lemons, M’rouzia lamb with saffron almonds, and spinach-cheese briouates.” This particular class is offered Saturday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

There’s also the Italian Cooking Class, described as a “journey into the heart of Italian gastronomy,” which will  help guests dive deep into the “art of crafting fresh pasta, potato gnocchi, and the beloved Amatriciana sauce.” It’s offered Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

And finally, there’s the Pastry Class, an “introduction to the art of patisserie, learning the intricacy of creating profiteroles, vanilla ice cream, chocolate tarts, cookies, and other sweet treats.” It’s offered Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
