These historic sites help bring Jane Austen’s novel to life
As proof that a good classic never goes out of style, one of history's best novels is set to get a reimagining this month: Emma, starring Anya Taylor-Joy, is based on the Jane Austen novel of the same name. While the book is a literary icon, it also features plenty of remarkable estates and homes throughout England. Luckily for us, several of the sites used in the film are open to the public, which means you, too can become part of Jane Austen’s world. The film opens in New York and Los Angeles on February 21st, and other major cities on February 28th, then nationwide on March 6th.
