The waters off Tybee Island host a resident pod of bottlenose dolphins that numbers between 25 and 50, and the dolphins putting on the show above delighted tourists for about twenty seconds.

TikTok viewers are enchanted by this incredible display, and @Chron comments, "So amazing! I would loved to have seen this!" @Melissa adds, "I would be so happy! dolphins are life!!!"

So many people commented that this was 'Way better than Sea World" and it's true, there's just something so gorgeous about seeing these marine animals in their natural environment, rather than captivity.

Dolphins have a lot less space when they are keep in aquariums, as opposed to the big, vast ocean. There's also the issue of certain facilities that train these animals to perform tricks on demand for the paying public. There are many places that strive to provide a high standard of care for these animals, and accredited organizations like the Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums (AMMPA) have established guidelines and standards for the care and treatment of marine mammals in captivity.

Not everyone gets the chance to see these wild animals, in the wild, and an argument can be made that those people who view these animals in captivity have a greater appreciation for the importance of their existence in the world and how better to care about conservation efforts, but nothing is as fantastic as seeing these animals where they belong, in the ocean.
