Gordon Ramsay Names the Special Guests For the Back Half of 'Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars'

Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars, a search for the next great food and drink industry entrepreneur, began with 15 contestants vying for Gordon to make a personal investment of $250,000 in their businesses—and it’s now down to eight.

Each week the remaining food and drink industry professionals are divided into two teams and are challenged in one or more aspects of running a food enterprise, including creating, marketing and selling to real customers. Gordon then interviews members of the losing team and decides who wasn’t up to the task. That person is then eliminated.

When Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars returns from its brief hiatus this Wednesday, July 12, Owen Han (TikTok Influencer) and Pyet DeSpain (winner of Next Level Chef Season 1) will be the special guests for the “Social Feed” episode, which marks the halfway point of the competition.

In this episode, Gordon will test the digital marketing skills of the final eight, dividing them once again into teams and requiring each team to create an entertaining, educational and easy to follow TikTok recipe video using ingredients selected from the Underwood Family Farm in Moorpark, Calif.

The teams will have three hours to create a vegetarian dish as well as a how-to-make-it video. Then, Owen and Pyet will test the video by trying to recreate the recipe by following the steps as described. Their success or failure will determine which team is the winner and which team will send one of its members home.

As for the rest of the season, the MasterChef host has compiled a list of expert panelists and special guests—and Parade can exclusively reveal who is upcoming.

Episode 6 (July 12):

Nick Stone (Founder and CEO of Bluestone Lane Coffee) will appear as a Secret Shopper.

Episode 8 (August 2):

Special Guests: Alberti Popaj (QVC Host), Sean Hagan (QVC Senior Producer)

Episode 10 (August 16):

The finale guests have not yet been revealed, but on the finale night the one contestant who proved that they possess the raw ingredients required to succeed—drive, dedication, creativity, passion and talent—will be named the winner of the $250,000 investment.
