In 2018, we saw magnetic lashes pop up everywhere from Sephora to the drugstore — and according to this year’s Google Year in Search 2018, the top three beauty searches in the U.S. were all about eyelashes.

In fact, “How to apply magnetic lashes” was the top-searched beauty question of 2018 in the U.S., followed by “What is a lash lift?” and “How to remove individual lashes.” Magnetic lashes, however, took the top spot as far as the most-Googled beauty trends go, and it’s easy to see why that search was so popular.

Users who swear by magnetic lashes are fans of how easy they are to apply and the fact that you can practically ditch your mascara. The glueless faux lashes are reusable and lightweight but come with a slightly higher price than traditional false lashes. Still, reviewers note that the splurge is worth it. Removal is simple because there is zero adhesive that can tug at your natural lashes, and the best part is you can try the trend starting at $13.

This set comes with two pairs of lashes and a tweezer for a precise application every time. One commenter raved about the lightweight lashes, calling the falsies a “lifesaver.” The reviewer notes: “I’m allergic to eyelash glue and these have been a lifesaver, and they last all day long without falling off. I totally forget I have them on.”
