‘The Good Wife’ Star Josh Charles and Wife Sophie Flack Announced That They’re Expecting in the Most Hilarious Way
There’s no shortage of creative ways to announce a pregnancy — especially when you’re a celeb. Whether they’re showing off their growing bump with a stunning fashion spread or giving their tummy a not-so-subtle rub at the end of their VMAs performance á la Beyoncé, stars’ options are endless, really. The Good Wife star Josh Charles and ballet dancer wife Sophie Flack may have given us our favorite pregnancy announcement of the year, however, thanks to the Bunheads author’s simple, yet hilarious, approach.
The mom of one, who welcomed her first babe with Charles back in 2014, took to Instagram to show off her pregnant belly in a cropped top which simply read “I woke up like this.”
Her caption was equally as cheeky, with Flack casually writing, “Oh, by the way…”
The pair, who married back in 2013 in a super intimate ceremony in Manhattan, are notoriously private, making their latest news all the more surprising. Even Hollywood pals like Bobby Cannavale were stunned, with the Ant-Man and the Wasp star reportedly writing, WHAAAAA?!!!! @Sophsf, Love you guys!”
