Good news — Claire is wearing acceptable footwear in the first trailer for “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”

When you’re going off into the jungle to track dinosaurs, what do you pack? Just a few aceptable things include long pants, bug spray, maybe one of those fun wicking hats with a wide brim, probably sunscreen, a water bottle, and comfortable footwear. Under no circumstance should you pack high heels — which is something Jurassic World’s Claire learned the hard way when she found herself running from a T-Rex while wearing heels. Girl, no.

Thankfully, it appears as if Claire has learned from her past mistakes, and the first teaser for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom shows Claire more than appropriately dressed for a run through the jungle and she is wearing SHOES. Are those…are those boots? Are they comfortable? More importantly, are they comfortable enough so you can outrun the dinosaurs chasing you down? As long as the answer is yes, you’re good to go, Claire.

This first teaser — if you can even call it a teaser, since it’s a teaser for the trailer that will drop on Thursday — is just 15 seconds of Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady yelling “RUN! RUNNN! RUUUUNNNNNNN” as a pack of dinosaurs come charging out of the forest towards them.

Also, it appears as if everything is on fire. Hey Owen and Claire, you guys okay?

The answer is probably: No. It sure looks like something has taken them back to the Island of Dinosaurs, since there are some deserted Gyrospheres around them (hey, remember those from the first film?). Oh, and the dinosaurs do not look to be of the friendly variety. Good thing you packed boots this time, Claire.

So yes, while things look like they are pretty bad and only getting worse by the second, at least Claire learned her lesson last time. No high heels!!

The full trailer for the movie lands on Thursday, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom roars into theaters June 22nd, 2018.
