Maybe Kimberlin Brown isn’t coming back to The Bold and the Beautiful as Sheila Carter? While some can’t believe the naughty nurse is gone for good in light of recent events, there’s been a real-life development that indicates Brown is not coming back to Los Angeles where the half-hour soap tapes.

A New Home

“Found my #heavenonearth in #montana thanks to [Kaila The Realtor] my daughter-in-law — love my new property ❤️ on the #gallatinriver,” Brown posted on Instagram. Accompanying her reel, which features beautiful, scenic shots of her new place, is the song “Heaven Is A Place on Earth” by Paratone with featured artist kaii.

So, while Sheila may be in heaven (she’d like to think!), Brown has found “heaven on earth” in her new locale. Her soap pals have weighed in with supportive comments. “So happy for you,” wrote Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke). Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) wrote: “Livin’ the life my friend.”

However, a new location doesn’t mean Kimberlin Brown can’t pop back up as Sheila (did Sheila really die?). Many soap stars now live out of L.A. and return to tape their scenes from wherever in the United States they may be residing. With shows going dark throughout the year to save on production costs, actors feel they don’t necessarily have to remain in Hollywood.

“I hope the woman that was killed [on B&B] was your twin sister coming to find you!” wrote camillechickeletti on Instagram. “I just cannot accept that you are really gone!”

Sheila, as well as other B&B characters, have cheated the Grim Reaper before. Heck, Taylor (Hunter Tylo) was in an open casket (the “corpse” was a rubber lifelike dummy), and she managed to pop back up alive after it was revealed that she’d once again become a reluctant guest of Prince Omar (Kabir Bedi) of Morocco. And Finn (Tanner Novlan), Sheila’s son, was believed to have perished after she shot him but he, too, made a miraculous recovery!

What do you think? Is Sheila (and her portrayer) gone for good?
