Golf Pro Michelle Wie Marries Jonnie West in California Wedding

Everything about Michelle Wie’s wedding was above par. The golf champion married her longtime beau Jonnie West in Beverly Hills, California, on Saturday, August 10. The pair chose a private home to exchange vows and showcase their love before their 150 guests.

“She was so happy, and she looked so radiant,” David Leadbetter, the bride’s coach of several decades, told the Golf Channel. “It’s a great new chapter in her life.”

The groom also comes from a storied athletic background. His father is NBA legend Jerry West, and Jonnie is currently the director of basketball operations in the Golden State Warriors front office. (Steph Curry attended the nuptials of course.)

“I’ve known Michelle since she was 13, more than half of her life,” Leadbetter added to the Golf Channel Sunday. “So, it was quite emotional, seeing her get married. She’s going to be a great wife and I’m sure at some time a great mom, in the future.”

The couple got engaged in March 2019, and used a clever custom hashtag: “#WieGoesWest.” See more photos below.
