We have never seen something so relatable. Anytime there is a sweet treat in front of us, we stare at it until we get to taste its deliciousness. So we applaud this doggo for knowing to set her priorities straight - dessert first, interviews second.
And we can't forget to mention how sweetly she was waiting for the treat. Our dogs would've been barking until someone came to open the treat jar. For that, she deserves extra treats. Sorry, we don't make the rules here!
Many dog owners are concerned that if you train with treats, then your dog will become reliant on eating, but that isn't necessarily the case. When trained properly, food is used as reinforcement for good behavior. It's important to move from that to only giving the food every now and then. You can do this by using an empty hand for the dog to follow and then delivering the treat from the other hand. Slowly but surely you'll lure them away from the treat. Be patient as it might take time!
