It's a "tail" as old as time. Dinner from your favorite restaurant might sound mouth-watering, but right as you get your hopes up, you hear "we have that at home." The reality is, it's just not the same.
Poor Teddy the Golden Retriever knows exactly what we're talking about. He's giving his dad, who runs @aguyandagolden, some major side eye about his 'homemade Taco Bell!"

We don't think we've ever related to a dog so much before. Teddy's disappointment is palpable--one could even say the sheer force of his sadness knocked over his precious chef hat!
@Tootsieroll (remember those?) commented, "side eye so hard his hat fell off." That's what we're saying! Clearly, these homemade tacos are stirring up some big feelings for this adorable Golden Retriever, but if we're being honest, that's how we'd feel too. He just wanted a little treat!
Even though this dog and dad duo didn't go to Taco Bell, we hope that, at the very least, Jonathan made some dog-safe snacks for Teddy. In fact, making tacos for dogs isn't any harder than whipping some up for yourself!
There are plenty of recipes to find online, but this DIY K9 Mini Tacos recipe from Petsmont is an especially simple one. You only need 4 ingredients (though we recommend adding cheese) and can substitute corn tortillas for flour if needed. Of course, you can use any meat your dog tolerates well, and you can add any dog-safe ingredients that you like.
Now your whole family will be able to enjoy taco night!
