Jo Koy was announced as the Golden Globes 2024 host on Dec. 21. The stand-up comedian and actor is best known for his frequent appearances on E!’s late-night show “Chelsea Lately,” along with Netflix specials “Jo Koy: Live from Seattle,” “Jo Koy: In His Elements,” “Jo Koy: Live From The Los Angeles Forum,” amongst others.
In 2018, Koy won Stand-Up Comedian Of The Year at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, the largest international comedy festival in the world.

“Here Lies Love” Opening Night, 2023
Koy attended the opening of Broadway’s “Here Lies Love” in July 2023 wearing black and white Prada high-top sneakers. The comedian’s shoes feature the designer’s name in the brand’s signature font, along with a silver triangular decal on the side.
She Ready Foundation Prom Gala, 2023
Koy attended Tiffany Hadish’s She Ready Foundation Prom Gala in May 2023 wearing black athletic sneakers with white soles. The comedian’s shoes added a lot of approachability to his ensemble, which consisted of a long-sleeved Prada button-down and black trousers.
“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” World Premiere, 2022
Koy attended the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” world premiere in October 2022 wearing Nike Air Jordans. His sneakers are primarily black and white, with brown and orange detailing. The brand’s “Jumpman” logo, a silhouette of former NBA player Michael Jordan, is featured in bright orange.
“Late Night With Seth Meyers,” 2022
Jo Koy made a guest appearance on the “Late Night With Seth Meyers” show in 2022 wearing white Adidas sneakers. One sneaker featured the brand’s signature three black stripes, while the other had a bold black star with what appeared to be a lightning bolt attached.

Jo Koy wore taupe Off-White sneakers on the set of the “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in September 2022. The comedian’s sneakers provided a nice contrast to his all-black ensemble.
