A very deserving actor just received one of Hollywood's top honors.

At the 81st annual Golden Globes, Jeremy Allen White took home the statuette for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy Series for The Bear. (He also snagged last year’s award, making it a back-to-back win.)

Other nominees included Bill Hader for Barry, Steve Martin for Only Murders in the Building, Jason Segel for Shrinking, Martin Short for Only Murders in the Building and Jason Sudeikis for Ted Lasso.

Other previous winners include Jeremy Allen White for The Bear, Jason Sudeikis for Ted Lasso, Ramy Youssef for Ramy, Michael Douglas for The Kominsky Method, Aziz Ansari for Master of None, Donald Glover for Atlanta, Gael García Bernal for Mozart in the Jungle, Jeffrey Tambor for Transparent, Andy Samberg for Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Don Cheadle for House of Lies.

The honor was first awarded at the 19th Golden Globe Awards on March 5, 1962 under the title Best TV Star–Male. Both comedy and drama genres were combined until 1969, when the award was split into two categories.

The 81st annual Golden Globes were held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The ceremony was exclusively broadcast on CBS and Paramount+.

Congrats, White. You earned it.
