The nominees for the forthcoming 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards were revealed last week and Fantasia Barrino received a nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) for her starring role in the musical adaptation of “The Color Purple.”
Since becoming the third winner of “American Idol” in 2004, at just 19 years old, Barrino has hit countless red carpets. Over the years, she’s worked with celebrity stylist Daniel Hawkins to create some glamorous looks.

The 2023 Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Gala saw Barrino wear a shimmery black Dolce & Gabbana dress featuring fishnet and feather details with black patent Jimmy Choo platform pumps boasting a classic peep-toe silhouette.
Metallic Moves
At Elle’s 2023 Women in Hollywood Celebration, Barrino wore another pair of Jimmy Choo peep-toe platform pumps, this time in a flashy gold metallic finish. She styled the ankle-strap heels with a glittering royal blue catsuit featuring a chunky gold chain strap detail with a coordinating sarong.
White-Hot Heels
At the 2019 BET Awards, Barrino went with a chic all-white look. On foot, she sported a pointed peep-toe style that displayed her bright pink pedicure.
Classic Black Pumps
The actress wore a black velvet jumpsuit embroidered with sparkling silver crystal details and timeless black leather pointy-toe pumps for an evening honoring legendary record producer Quincy Jones in 2018.

At the 2004 Billboard Music Awards, Barrino slipped into a silky lime green satin dress and gold metallic peep-toe pumps featuring an elegant caged design.
