Elizabeth Olsen recently received her second Golden Globes nomination for Best Actress in a Mini-series or Motion Picture for TV for her lead role in HBO Max’s true crime drama “Love & Death.” She earned her first Golden Globes nomination in 2022 in the same category for her lauded role in “WandaVision.”
Elizabeth Olsen is the younger sister of May-Kate and Ashley Olsen has also been acting from a very young age, including in several of their famed childhood projects. She made her film debut in 2011’s “Martha Marcy May Marlene,” and in 2015 entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

On the red carpet, Olsen often chooses — in collaboration with her stylist Elizabeth Stewart — glamorous gowns and sleek, feminine pantsuits paired with classic strappy stilettos or pumps, sometimes with intricate detailing or in jewel tones. Her favorite footwear designers include Dior, Sophia Webster, Le Silla, Stuart Weitzman, Jimmy Choo and Miu Miu.
The 2024 Golden Globe Awards takes place on Jan. 7, where we’ll get a chance to see what she and the other stylish nominees are wearing on the red carpet and who will take home the big wins. At the Los Angeles “Love & Death” premiere, Olsen looked romantic in head-to-toe deep red Givenchy. The red leather slingback sandals featured a woven strap with Givenchy logo chain detailing across the toe and a unique square toe with 3.75-inch stiletto heels. Her sleeveless silk Givenchy dress had a high-low skirt that trailed in the back and an open back that tied into two large bows. She paired this with a matching dark red lip, a subtle smoky eye and her hair pulled back, and no jewelry.

At the 2021 MTV Movie and TV Awards, the “WandaVision” star channeled chic It-girl energy in the perfect little black dress with black pointed-toe pumps. The Miu Miu minidress was dotted with rhinestones and had long sleeves that ended in cream-colored mock silk cuffs. She wore her hair back in a bun with piece-y curtain bangs and a bold red lip.

At the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards, Olsen serves up another perfect little black dress and pumps ensemble. This one consists of black Christian Louboutin pointed-toe heels and a velvet Alexandre Vauthier long-sleeve minidress with a plunging neckline. This was also in her curtain bangs era, which she wore with a few face-framing layers and the rest of her hair in an updo. She accessorized with chandelier earrings and a black rectangular clutch with red detailing.

At the “Avengers: Infinity War” premiere in April 2018, she wore classy single-strap stiletto sandals with a head-turning Oscar de la Renta black strapless jumpsuit with a lace bodice and stunning side train. She wore her deep auburn hair long and wavy, with subtle makeup, a bold red lip and no jewelry.

At the Los Angeles premiere of “Ingrid Goes West,” Olsen and co-star Aubrey Plaza had a chic twinning moment on the red carpet. The pair wore black satin Sophia Webster “Coco Crystal” pumps with pointed-toe heels and rhinestone encrusted heels and black Marc Jacobs minidresses embellished with sparkly circles; Plaza’s in gold and Olsen’s in silver.

At the European film premiere of “Captain America: Civil War,” Olsen looked like a luminescent Hollywood starlet in a long white gown. She wore silver slim strap stiletto sandals with an approximately five-inch heel beneath her Alexander McQueen pre-fall 2016 long-sleeve knot detail gown. She wore her hair dirty blonde in loose waves, with a deep red lip and very delicate chain necklaces.

Olsen served up sleek and chic looks for the multiple “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” red carpets, but the London one took the cake, a modern take on Mod dressing ala Twiggy. She elevated her look with black Saint Laurent spring 2015 studded platform knotted open-toed shoes. She paired the statement shoes with a Saint Laurent turtleneck cape dress with silver and gold sequin detailing around the collar. She wore her blonde hair pulled back, a smoky eye and nude lip and a white mani-pedi.

At the European premiere of the “Godzilla” film she starred in, 25-year-old Olsen looked glamorous and ready for her Hollywood era. She wore coordinating dark navy satin strappy heels beneath her strapless gown that featured a fitted sequin bodice and a long lace and sequin skirt. She wore her dark brown hair in a half-updo with a dark smoky eye and crystal drop earrings.
