The Caitlin Clark phenomenon is sweeping the nation. Ticket prices jump whenever she's in town, fans routinely travel hundreds of miles to see her play, and a record near-10 million people watched her play in last year's March Madness championship (a game she and the Iowa Hawkeyes ultimately lost to LSU).

This year, the 22-year-old jumped to living legend status when she became the NCAA's all-time leading scorer—for men and women. Nike even celebrated the feat with an awesome "You break it, you own it" t-shirt.

Naturally, all eyes are on Caitlin as she competes in this year's tournament. And, on Friday, Caitlin and the Hawkeyes will play UConn in the Final Four.

The matchup comes on the heels of Iowa's massive Elite Eight win over Angel Reese and LSU, whom they played during last year's National Championship.

The Caitlin/Angel rivalry has captivated fans since 2023, when Angel made the John Cena "You can't see me" hand gesture at Caitlin as LSU beat Iowa during last year's game. But, the two have assured the public that there's no hard feelings.

"I don't think people realize it's not personal," Angel told reporters on Sunday, per ESPN. "Once we get out between those lines, if I see you walking down the street, it's like, 'Hey, girl, what's up? Let's hang out.' I think people just take it like we hate each other. Me and Caitlin Clark don't hate each other. I want everybody to understand that."

Caitlin agreed, telling journalists, "There's definitely that competitive fire."

This is Caitlin's last chance to become a national champion before she enters the WNBA draft. (And presumably becomes the first overall pick.) So, when does Caitlin Clark play again? Here’s her upcoming schedule.

When does Caitlin Clark play again?

Caitlin’s next game in March Madness 2024—her fifth in this year's tournament—will be on Friday, April 5, at 9:30 p.m. ET. The Hawkeyes will play the University of Connecticut Huskies in Cleveland, Ohio's Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

The match-up comes after Iowa defeated the LSU Tigers 89-68 on Friday, per ESPN. The Hawkeyes beat the Tigers 94-87, thanks, in large part, to Caitlin's 41 (!!) points, including nine three-pointers.

Friday's Iowa vs. UConn game will air on ESPN. If you don't have cable, you can also catch the game with Hulu + Live TV, which includes Disney+ and ESPN+ subscriptions.

If the Hawkeyes win, they'll move onto the NCAA women's national championship game, which will be hosted at the same venue in Cleveland and air on ABC. Here's the schedule for the rest of the tournament:

  • Final Four: April 5

  • NCAA championship game: April 7

Iowa is a No. 1 seed in the NCAA March Madness tournament.

The Hawkeyes have the distinct honor of being one of the tournament's four No. 1 seeds, alongside the South Carolina Gamecocks, the USC Trojans, and the Texas Longhorns.

Hawkeyes’ women’s basketball team has had a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament just three times in school history—in 1988, 1992, and 2024—according to Hawkeyes Sports. Iowa has also hosted the first two rounds of March Madness seven times between 2013 and now.

FWIW: Iowa was a No. 2 seed last year. Caitlin has never won a national tournament, making this her last chance.
