What Is Going On With Maggie And Nicole On DAYS?

Since Konstantin arrived in Salem and Nicole married EJ, the two women haven’t quite acted like themselves. And in the Wednesday, March 20 episode of Days of Our Lives, it was more apparent than ever. When will Maggie figure out Konstantin should be spelled with a “C” instead of a “K”? And when will Nicole stop EJ’s war against Brady’s son Tate?

Maggie Charmed by Konstantin? Please.

Obviously, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) was vulnerable after Victor (John Aniston) died. Still, it’s hard to believe that she’d let a conman like Konstantin come in and charm her like he has. Sure, she was skeptical for a minute. Eventually, he won her over. (DAYS’ Miranda Wilson speaks out on her future here)

He’s clearly shady in every way. He has excuse after excuse for not leaving town to return to Greece. Yes, he now has a sad story about his daughter that seems real, but is Maggie even vetting him? Is she listening to John (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) whom she’s known for decades when they tell her this guy is sus?

Xander (Paul Telfer), a former conman whom Maggie loves, can’t stand Konstantin.

He doesn’t have me conned. Not only do I not trust the man. I despise him. With every cell of my being.

Xander Cook, Wednesday, March 20, 2024

Unfortunately, Maggie won’t listen to him either! What will it take for her to believe this guy who can lull a baby to sleep in his arms is a bad guy looking to steal her fortune? That he’s the guy who collaborated with Theresa (Emily O’Brien) to get in her good graces by “kidnapping” Victoria?

Steve and John know Victor and Konstantin were longtime enemies, not friends. There’s that piece of information. But that may not be enough. Theresa may have to confess how she teamed up with Konstantin to bilk Xander and Maggie out of their fortunes. Hopefully, Theresa will come clean sooner rather than later. She’s a bit more mature these days so maybe Maggie will actually believe her? An upcoming spoiler teases Maggie seeing Konstantin in a new light. Does she finally see right through his act? Then, can we get back to the Maggie we know and love, please?

Will the Real Nicole Please Stand Up

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) is strong, brash, shady, generous, selfish, beautiful, intelligent, and all the other adjectives that make her one of Salem’s most complex and complicated women. Sometimes, she’s all of these adjectives simultaneously. Even though the love of her life is Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan — who talks about his health crisis here), it’s easy to see why she’d marry EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel). They’d been married before, they’re hot and protective of each other. Plus, they both don’t mind getting devious when the time or occasion is needed.

Ever since Nicole “lost” her baby, EJ’s taken his protective streak into an over-the-top place where he’s calling all the shots now. Adding in Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) overdose, Salem’s District Attorney decided to control the narrative and lay all the blame on Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) son — and Holly’s best friend Tate (Jamie Martin Mann — how fans feel about Tate and Holly’s reunion). It doesn’t matter that none of this is true. It doesn’t matter that the evidence was all circumstantial. EJ had Tate — a minor — arrested and sent to jail. Thankfully, Tate ended up in a juvie facility, and finally, a halfway house.

For some reason, EJ decided to paint Tate as a juvenile delinquent who needed punishment. At one point, he even told Holly after Tate broke into the DiMera mansion that they should pay the consequences if someone broke the law. EJ almost NEVER pays the consequences. So why is he making Tate? Yes, he took back the arrest and Tate now resides in the halfway house again, but, there’s a restraining order that says he can’t even approach Holly or the DiMera mansion. Why this vendetta against Brady’s son? And why is Nicole not speaking up about this travesty? After all, Brady isn’t just a friend of hers, he was once a friend with benefits!

What will it take for Nicole to realize that her daughter is hiding crucial intel from her and EJ? Well, not just realize it, but do something about it, too?
