Hand sanitizers are likely going to be a daily essential to keep on-hand (pun intended) for quite a while. Touchland's Power Mist Hand Sanitizers are aesthetically pleasing and delightfully scented, and they're making waves for their ultra cool style and for being a more hydrating take on the average hand sanitizer.

Two major issues that I have with traditional hand sanitizers are their drying feel on hands and their potent alcohol scent that nearly chokes you with every whiff. Touchland's hand sanitizer formula addresses both of these pain points: It cleanses your fingers and palms while also nurturing the skin with ingredients like aloe vera and radish root ferment filtrate for a clean and comfortable feel.

Though the brand has been sold in Europe since 2010, Touchland arrived stateside in 2017. Since then, it's been praised by the likes of Kathleen Lights and a handful of other influencers for offering a smartly designed, chic alternative to other hand sanitizers that's just as effective.

Ever since quarantine began, everyone has been rightfully trying to keep their paws clean throughout the day, especially when venturing outside. Hand sanitizer has become an essential for everyday use, but it's not without its faults: Most sanitizer formulas on the market tend to smell like the strongest-proof liquor you can find that’s thinly veiled with an artificial lemon scent. Plus, they feel extremely drying on hands after frequent use. And some hand sanitizer formulations don't even meet the FDA's guidelines for effectiveness.

Though sanitizer supplies in stores and online have fluctuated over the last few months, we have good news for you: There's now a plethora of restocked favorites and new sanitizing products to choose from! But it can get tricky to find ones that you will actually remember to use.

That's when the newly restocked Touchland Power Mist Hand Sanitizers grabbed my attention. Not only is it effectively sanitizing with a 67% alcohol content (above the FDA's standard), but it also looks and smells amazing (plus, there's an unscented version) — a win-win for everyone. Its ultra fine mist applicator helps ensure that your hands won't feel goopy or slippery after use, and the formula is also vegan.

But your hands aren't the only ones that will feel good by switching to this hand sanitizer: Touchland currently dedicates 5% of their total profits to send sanitizing hygiene solutions to developing countries where there’s water scarcity, to save children from dying from diarrheal diseases caused by a lack of safe water, sanitation, and basic hygiene.

Since I'm a lavender obsessive, I decided to try out Touchland's lavender scent. It comes in an adorable all-white dispenser with clear panels to show off the formula's delicate pale-purple color. But one downfall about its current packaging is that it's not recyclable or refillable — which they're currently working on fixing.

When it comes to the actual formula, I can't say enough how much I adore it. The mister gives you just the right amount of hand sanitizer to keep your hands clean without feeling drenched, and the scent is light but still has a whiff of refreshing lavender that I can only describe as heavenly. My hands feel refreshed and clean after I use it, without feeling over-stripped and dry, allowing me to ditch the hand lotion when I go out. I never thought a hand sanitizer could bring such joy, but here I am with my squeaky clean and hydrated hands.

If you're looking to restock your hand sanitizer load, definitely consider Touchland's array of scented options. Though no hand sanitizer should ever replace washing your hands, this sanitizer is a great alternative for keeping your hands clean when there isn't a sink or soap around for its lightweight feel on your hands, fresh scent, and cleansing properties.
