Kids today are lucky. Based on the book by Terry Pratchett, this droll story follows a cat who's in on a long con with a flute player and a team of intelligent rats, tricking villagers into paying for a Pied Piper-like service. Maurice's plans go awry, though, when the team heads to a town where rats are being blamed for the mysterious disappearance for all the food in the village. Hugh Laurie, David Thewlis, David Tennant and Emilia Clarke provide voices in a story that's a little dark and twisted, but not terrifying.

It stars Disney staple Peyton Elizabeth Lee, star of Andi Mack and Doogie Kameāloha, M.D.

This Disney movie, inspired by the popular theme park ride (and unrelated to the 2003 version with Eddie Murphy), stars Rosario Dawson as a single mom who moves into a new house, only to find it's filled with grim, grinning spirits. She enlists a priest (Luke Wilson), who gathers reinforcements (LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish and others) to help. Ride enthusiasts will appreciate references to their favorite attraction characters, like the Hatbox Ghost or Madame Leota.

You can never count the TMNT out: There's always another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie just lurking beneath the surface, ready to come out of hiding (like the turtles themselves). Just don't expect actors in suits; this one is going to used stylized animation. It was produced by Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg, who previously delved into the drama of teens and pre-teens with movies like Superbad and Good Boys.
