God Bless Carrie Underwood and the 9 Different Outfits She Wore at the CMA Awards
Carrie Underwood loves an award show fashion marathon whenever she hosts the Country Music Association Awards, and she did it again last night at this year's ceremony. The singer wore a staggering nine different outfits during the award broadcast. Bless her and her stylist, who made each one look incredible. Here, a breakdown of each look.
The Sheer Nude Red Carpet Dress
Underwood started the night in her big statement look: She posed with her husband Mike Fisher in a nude embroidered column gown by Elie Madi. Her hair was down, and she wore a pretty nude lip with the ensemble.
The Gold Tinsel Mini Dress
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...or closer to it, anyway. Underwood brought out her festive side in the glitzy long-sleeved Nicole and Felicia tinsel dress she wore during the broadcast alongside her co-hosts Dolly Parton and Reba.
The Embellished Blue Blazer and Flares
Underwood ditched the dresses for a sleek cobalt blue pantsuit look by Any Old Iron. She paired her blue blazer with matching flares and a black top.
The Green High Leg Slit Halter Dress
Underwood showed a lot of leg in this sparkly green The Blonds dress that had a nearly thigh-high leg slit.
The Black Three-Piece Performance Look
And now for something completely different: Underwood performed in a The Blonds blazer, a Maison Alexandrine black bodysuit, and Amen Couture black embellished pants. She completed the look with a black hat.
The Sparkly Silver Mini Dress
Another sparkly Nicole and Felicia dress comes out. Underwood wore a silver sequined number with sheer black waist detailing. Got to love the endurance!
The Chiffon Princess Gown
Underwood had a more regal, fall moment in this embellished sleeveless dress with sparkly leaf detailing.
The Colorful, Embellished Black Gown
Underwood switched into another sheer look, this one with a playful side given its many rainbow embellishments. The dress is by Berta Couture.
The Red Caped Dress
Underwood switched to a dramatic two-toned red dress during the night. She accessorized minimally with rings and a sparkly barrette, as you do when you're wearing a statement look designed to capture everyone's attention.
