Organization is key — so is cleaning, storage, gardening and more. In this series, you’ll learn various tips and tricks to make gardening, grilling and even sewing easier. No matter the problem, there’s a Home Hack for that!

If you don’t find yourself jumping into a new DIY project or craft regularly, then you probably haven’t dug around your house for a glue gun in a while. But it’s time to hunt the tool down because you can use a glue gun for many clever hacks when you’re in pinch.

While glue guns can obviously mend broken things around the house, we’ve come up with a few unique ways to use the tool at home that might not be obvious at first.

For starters, if you have a rug or bath mat that won’t seem to stay in place, put some hot glue on its underside, let it dry and then you have a non-slip option ready to go.

If your makeup brushes need deep cleaning, put some hot glue in dots, stripes, etc. on a clean plastic clipboard, allow it to dry and then you’ll have a place to scrub your brushes.

And if your kids have any of those squishy, plastic bath toys, putting some hot glue on any air holes can help seal out water and anything that could grow mold.

Check out these tricks and more in the video above, and shop some of the best glue guns below.

Her friends, however, didn’t back down. Benita said that her friends kept asking her for free food, and she continuously said no. Finally, one of her friends asked for something free: a packet of sugar. Benita handed it to them, and three days later, she was in her manager’s office . “He said, ‘This will result in your immediate termination.’ And I was like, ‘What? Check the cameras, dude. I didn’t give away s***'”. Benita held her ground, telling her manager she was sure she didn’t give anyone free food. She argued back and defended herself — and her boss let her keep her job
