Glossier Is Reintroducing Balm Dotcom's Original Formula With a New Flavor

True Glossier girlies know about the iconic Balm Dotcom lip balm that first launched in 2014 and quickly became a bestselling staple. Along the way, the brand reformulated the product to make the ingredients vegan, as well as giving the packaging a new look and feel. While many enjoyed the updated lip balm, much of the OG Glossier community pushed for the brand to bring back the beloved original formula.

Those wishes have been granted as the brand just launched a new "Strawberry Balm Dotcom" that touts the original ingredients. The product is packed with ingredients like beeswax, which helps to retain moisture in the lips and lanolin, a moisturizing ingredient that's sensitive skin-approved. It also contains extracts of cupuacu fruit, rice bran and rosemary leaf, as well as castor seed oil to help coat the lips in a thick, hydrating salve.

The new flavor leaves a soft red tint on the lips for the perfect subtle pop of color for everyday wear or no-makeup makeup looks. Clean beauty lovers should note that the brand's return to its original formula means that the new strawberry lip balm will not be vegan. Those looking for vegan products should reach for any of the brand's eight other flavors, like "mango" or "coconut."

Glossier's "Strawberry Balm Dotcom" is available on the brand's website for $14 USD.
