I’m not sure exactly when the craze for plush, plump and glow-like skin started, but it hasn’t been nice (or inclusive) for oily-skinned babes. On the bright side, the new Glossier Priming Moisturizer Balance is here to settle the score with oil once and for all.

Having oily to combination skin can be tricky when diving into products to help your skin stay moisturized without looking overly shiny. However, there’s a difference between being a glow baby and a grease monkey, and many skincare geeks would prefer to rep the former.

The Glossier Priming Moisturizer Balance is essentially a one-stop-shop for oil control while retaining moisture. The gel-cream formula uses marine extract to reduce shine while ingredients like niacinamide and willow bark extract work on shrinking the look of your pores. Plus, the brand states that you’ll see quick results with oil control and the benefits just pile on over time using the Priming Moisturizer Balance.

Shoppers are already rolling in with their reviews of the product. And many customers say it’s a great option for an “everyday” moisturizer.

One customer said this was one gel formula that worked for their skin type. “This is a great gel moisturizer that would be perfect for layering under sunscreen during the warmer months.”

Another customer wrote that this is a good alternative to face oils, too. “If you are someone who is hesitant to wear moisturizers/ face oils because of your natural ~dewy~ skin, I would highly recommend this product.”

Hope is not lost, my oily and combo skin friends. Solace is right around the corner with a millennial pink “G.”
