The Glass-Bottom Pool of This $29 Million Arizona Home Hovers Above the Desert Landscape

Here’s the thing about Arizona’s newest architectural marvel: It doesn’t exist yet.

Nonetheless, the unbuilt residence in Paradise Valley has been put on the market for a whopping $29 million. According to the listing, which is held by Mike and Mary Jo Santistevan, the 11-acre estate, to be known as Serenity Heights, will be perched atop the area’s “highest and most coveted view lot.”

The desert compound, designed by architect Ivan Shongov in collaboration with Kurt Holland of Incline Custom Homes, will comprise a 16,000-square-foot main house, a two-bedroom guest house, and an eight-car garage. Plus, there are a ton of other over-the-top amenities planned.

The boomerang-shaped home in Paradise Valley will be named Serenity Heights.

“Its high elevation and location provide the residents with unparalleled privacy,” Mike told Mansion Global. “The architecture of this property is also on a playing field of its own.”

Tucked within the guard-gated Clearwater Hills community, the striking abode will be accessed up a winding 3,000-foot driveway. Outside, the structure will favor sleek lines and large expanses of glass while also seamlessly blending into its surroundings with little disruption to the natural environment. “The design and location make you feel like you’re in a different cosmos,” writes the listing.

The dining room will have a fireplace and open views over a zero-edge swimming pool.

Inside, the lavish eight-bedroom dwelling will be just as much a place to live as a curated collection of truly epic features. For starters, the living room will be decked out with a grand fireplace and a retractable glass wall. There will also be a kitchen that sports a butler’s pantry, a dining area that leads to a balcony, a bar, and a library.

A few other perks include a home theater, a giant 3,000-bottle wine cellar, a circular glass elevator, and a fully equipped fitness center with a sauna, steam room, and dressing room. Of course, the primary suite is just as luxe, complete with a suspended fireplace, an ensuite bath, and a massive closet.

The primary suite will feature a fireplace that’s suspended from the ceiling.

While the views here are admittedly hard to beat, the grounds will surely make the most of the mountainous landscape. Take the cantilevered infinity pool, for example, which will have a see-through glass bottom and ambient lighting so you can hover over the rock formations below. At the same time, the property will have a roof terrace with two gazebos, an outside bar, and a custom 10-person hot tub.

Construction on the estate is slated for completion in 2027. Hey, it’s good that time flies, right?
