Glamlite Cosmetics Debuts a Burger Eye Shadow Palette to Follow Up Last Year's Pizza-Themed Launch [Update]

UPDATE (April 20, 2019): Maybe it's the whole munchies mood associated with 4/20, but it doesn't seem like a coincidence that Glamlite has chosen April 20 to launch its latest junk-food-inspired beauty product. This time, it's the perfect side order for its Burger Palette: false eyelashes packaged to look like fries. Or as Glamlite has so cleverly called them, Fry-Lashes.

Other than the packaging, there's nothing about Fry-Lashes that resembles fries, so you don't have to worry about looking like you have potato sticks attached for your eyelids. Instead, the synthetic silk lashes come in classic black, with a gradient style that gets longer at the outer corners.

"Want FRY-LASHES with your Burger Palette?! 🍟🍟🍟🍔😍 Fry-Lashes are an amazing limited edition synthetic silk lash style and the first part of our Burger Collection," the brand wrote on Instagram, suggesting that there are more fast-food-centric makeup products on the way. Perhaps makeup brushes that look like grill prongs? A cushion compact that resembles a bun? Your guess is as good as ours, but we'll be sure to let you know as soon as we find out.

For now, you can order your pair of limited-edition Fry-Lashes for $12 on glamlite.com.

UPDATE (April 9, 2019): In the words of Glamlite, this burger is finally off the grill.

The Glamlite Cosmetics Burger Palette, cousin to the Pizza Palette, will become available for pre-order tomorrow, April 10, at 8 A.M. PT on glamlite.com, with orders starting to ship on April 24. The palette is $40 and will include 16 shades.

This also marks the first time we've seen the inside of the palette in all its carnivorous glory. The 16 eye shadow shades break down to three neon colors, two diamond colors, four shimmer shades and seven "ultra pigmented" mattes. Each shade is named after a favorite burger topping, so we've got Red Onion, Cheddar, Blue Cheese, and more.

The brand expects the palette to sell out immediately. "Pre-order is the only way to guarantee your burger," writes Glamlite, so don't forget to set yourself a big, juicy calendar notification.

From the brand that brought us the Pizza Palette and Pizza Lashes comes another palette based on a food group that I have Seamless deliver to my apartment way too often. Vegetarians, cover your eyes. Everyone else, please meet the Glamlite Cosmetics Burger Eye Shadow Palette.

Announced via Instagram, the "Burger x Glamlite" palette is reportedly coming this spring. "This mouthwatering gourmet burger includes 16 of America's most delicious toppings such as ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato 🍅, pickles, avocado🥑, bacon 🥓, and a variety of cheeses," a caption said. Let's translate that to beauty terms, shall we?

The palette is shaped like a burger (yum). Lift off the top bun to reveal 16 shades, including yellow, three shades of green, two reds, a reddish-brown, and more. The "variety of cheese"-themed shades could translate to bronzer and highlighter pans.

In addition to teasing this mouthwatering burger palette, Glamlite noted that an entire food collection is coming up, inspired by "America's favorite fast foods." Over on beauty blog Trendmood, fans are already putting in their requests for tacos, sushi, and ice cream.

Glamlite founder Giselle Hernandez has described the Pizza Palette launch as "the most liberating experience" of her life. With that in mind, we're expecting her to go full-steam ahead with every delicious theme she can imagine.

The Burger Palette is scheduled to launch in the spring on glamlite.com, just in time to fire up your makeup for the first BBQs of the season. In the meantime, the Pizza Palette is still hot, steamy, and available on the brand's website for $40.

Stay tuned for more information on exactly when you'll be able to order this burger straight to your door. As one fan commented, begging Glamlite to drop the palette soon: "a girl is hungry."
