If you use Glad containers on the regular to pack your lunch, snacks, or store your leftovers, you may think you know the ins and outs of exactly how they work-but your plastic food storage world is about to be turned upside down. One woman just figured out that Glad container lids actually contain two lids, and the second one has a brilliant use.

User Mama Graciee was posting photos of her meal prep on Twitter this week when people noticed something strange about her Glad containers-specifically, the lids.

She had little plastic containers attached to the larger lid, and people started to freak out.

Apparently, those circles in the lids aren't just a cool groove in the design-they're made to hold the little plastic containers to store your spreads, salad dressings, or extra toppings. Yep, that makes way more sense.

If you're wondering how you've gone so long (and ended up with so many soggy lunch salads) without realizing this, you're not alone. The wild part is, they actually marketed the product this way, but the majority of us completely missed the point.
