Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady win Halloween with adorable avocado-and-toast costumes

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady live a super-healthy lifestyle, so their Halloween costumes — avocado toast — is kind of perfect.

The stylish couple hit the streets on Oct. 31 with Bündchen as a slice of toast and Brady as an avocado. “Happy Halloween!!! I can’t resist an avocado!!” the supermodel captioned a photo of their getups on Instagram.

According to the New England Patriots quarterback, the idea was all Gisele.

“I think my wife picked something out,” he told Boston radio show “Kirk & Callahan” on Sunday, according to WEEI Boston Sports News. “So, I don’t want to give it away. They’ll find me in my neighborhood. It will be a nice costume. People won’t know who I am, but it will be fun.”

The following day, Brady revealed to the hosts, “I think we’re some type of avocado and toast. I don’t know which one. My wife bought the costume.”

Brady added that Bündchen had purchased the outfits on Amazon. “Avocado and the toast,” he said. “I don’t know. My wife bought it.” He added, “I don’t know what I am going to be [avocado or toast]. Whatever costume fits.”

The famous couple rarely strays from their whole-food, gluten-free, low-sugar diet, but they do indulge in avocado ice cream, as Brady revealed in a 2016 Facebook post, showing off his freezer stacked with the stuff.

And in September, Brady included a recipe for the six-ingredient dessert (cacao powder, coconut, raw cashews, dates, water, and avocado) in his book The TB12 Method.

Brady also wrote in the book, “When I think about food, I picture an avocado.”
