Gisele Bündchen is getting candid about her life post-divorce from Tom Brady. In an upcoming interview with Lee Cowan for CBS News Sunday Morning (which airs on Sept. 24), the supermodel confessed that while she doesn't regret getting married to the football star, she's in a better headspace now that they are no longer together.

"I’m in a different place in my life. I’m able to choose more of what I want," she said of being single. ”I think before I was more surviving, and now I’m living, which is different."

When asked if she would change the fact that they got divorced, Gisele replied: "I think it’s not what I dreamed of and what I hoped for. My parents have been married for 50 years, and I really wanted that to happen," adding, "But I think you have to accept you know sometimes that the way you are in your 20s, it’s sometimes you grow together, sometimes you grow apart.”

Gisele continued, "He’s the father of my kids. So I always wish him the best, and I’m so grateful that he gave me wonderful children.” The former couple share a son, Benjamin, 13, and a daughter, Vivian, 10.

Back in October 2022, Gisele and Tom filed for divorce following 13 years of marriage. The exes confirmed the news with separate statements shared to their Instagram Stories. For her part, the model wrote, "With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce. My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve."

She finished her note, stating that while the decision to split wasn't "easy," she felt it was necessary as they had slowly "grown apart."
