More and more details about Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady’s marital life are coming out, now that the pair are officially divorced, with the court documents reportedly stating that the marriage was “irretrievably broken.” And from what sources are suggesting, it seems like there was trouble in paradise for a lot longer than we first speculated, as an insider has revealed that the former Victoria’s Secret Angel was living her own, independent life without her now ex-husband for years! Omg!

“Just Fine”

Despite a source recently saying that Gisele was “devastated” by the split, which fans thought happened after the NFL star took himself out of retirement earlier this year, another source is saying that, although she is still upset, she will be “just fine” on her own; as she has been on her own, so to speak, for years!

"Gisele is dealing with issues that have been plaguing her for a long time," an insider told People, adding that the split from the 45-year-old Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback "was hard at first, but enough time has passed that she is settling in."

The children are the main priority

The model "has lived her own life for years while Tom played football so she is not afraid to do things by herself," the source added, before going on to say that Gisele's "main focus and priority" are the children; son Benjamin Rein, 12, and daughter Vivian Lake, 9.

"Gisele is great with her children and radiates happiness when either one or both are around," the source added, while also mentioning that the children "will be with both parents and should come out of this in good shape."

Back to work

The source also hinted that we can expect to see the Brazilian super take on a few more work projects now that she isn’t prioritizing the NFL star and his career, saying that she "is also eager to continue with her own career and interests." They added: "She has a full plate and lots of support." Earlier this year, Gisele told Elle: "I have a huge list of things that I have to do, that I want to do. At 42, I feel more connected with my purpose." We can't wait to see what Gisele has planned over the next few months!
