Gisele Bündchen has revealed more details about her divorce from NFL legend Tom Brady, and life in its aftermath.

In a preview of her upcoming interview with CBS News Sunday Morning's Lee Cowan, the supermodel opened up about separating from her husband of 13 years, which came when she filed for divorce in Oct. 2022.

While it's not the way she saw things going, she wouldn't change a single thing about the way her life has gone. "I mean, it's not what I dreamed of and what I hoped for," she conceded. "My parents have been married for 50 years, and I really wanted that to happen. But I think you have to accept, you know, sometimes that the way you are in your 20s, it's sometimes you grow together, sometimes you grow apart."

As the father of her kids—Benjamin, 13, and Vivian, 10—she'll "always wish him the best." She continued, "I'm so grateful that he gave me wonderful children," before acknowledging the truth behind the phrase, "When one door shuts, another door opens."

At the time of their divorce, she admitted that it was a difficult decision to come to, but recognized that the couple had grown apart. Brady did not contest the filing, and the two amicably divided their assets under a confidential agreement.

The retired athlete noted in a statement on Instagram back in October, "We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve."

This amicable nature has continued on into present day, as Bündchen was reportedly even supportive of Brady's relationship with fellow model Irina Shayk, glad to see him move on.

You can view the complete interview on Sunday, Sept. 24 at 9 a.m. EST on CBS and Paramount+.
