Gina Rodriguez Reveals Newborn Son’s Name and Shares First-Glimpse Photo

Gina Rodriguez (38) and her husband, Joe LiCicero (36), recently welcomed their first child into the world. And now, the Jane the Virgin star is sharing the name of her newborn son along with a first-glimpse photo (and video).

Yesterday on Instagram, the actress posted a slideshow capturing some of her favorite moments in life right now. Following a clip of her new show, there is a photo of Rodriguez and her newborn baby, where we get a tiny (and we mean tiny) glimpse of the top of her son’s head and hand.

The Not Dead Yet star also shared a video (third in the slideshow) where she is rehearsing a dance routine with her child, who is strapped to her chest in a baby carrier. She is dancing beside famous instructor Sasha Farber.

Rodriguez also took the opportunity to share the name of her baby boy: Charlie. The caption read, “My three favs, my baby Charlie, Not Dead Yet (NEW EPISODE TONIGHT with the great @pellpix ) and getting back to dancing (you are incredible @sashafarber1 [dancing emojis] and yes, I am breastfeeding while ballroom) THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN SUPPORTING OUR SWEET SHOW. I LOVE YOU.”

It’s only been a few weeks since Rodriguez gave birth to her newborn son. The Someone Great alum first announced her pregnancy on her 38th birthday. Along with a sweet video that featured various clips of her and her hubby, she wrote in the caption, “This birthday hits different [heart emoji].” (FYI, the couple met on the set of Jane the Virgin and tied the knot in 2019.)
