Gillian Anderson Nods to ‘Sex Education’ in Vulva-embroidered Dress by Gabriela Hearst at Golden Globes 2024

Gillian Anderson was a vision at the Golden Globe Awards 2024 in Los Angeles on Sunday, looking to Gabriela Hearst for her strapless ivory gown. The floor-length frock featured custom embroidery and a raw, unfinished hem.
‘“Vulvaliciously” chic as always,” Hearst captioned an Instagram post on Monday regarding the look.

Anderson’s gown was surprisingly and subtly covered in embroidered vulvas in a matching textured print. “Each yoni motif took about 3.5 hours to embroider and was made entirely in the garment district of NYC,” the actress captioned an Instagram post on Monday regarding her minimalist outfit.
Dressed by Martha Ward, the actress accessorized her gown with a silver Aquazzura handbag, Chopard jewelry and Aquazzura heels.
Anderson’s outfit was a fashionable ode to her role in Netflix’s “Sex Education,” in which she played the sex therapist Dr. Jean Milburn.
The series, which officially concluded in September with a fourth season, included Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa and Tanya Reynolds in the cast.
The 81st annual Golden Globe Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, celebrated the biggest achievements across film and television in 2023. It was produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by WWD parent Penske Media Corp.
