Gigi Hadid's Birthday Celebration Included Zayn Malik

It’s been a few months since fans started speculating that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik were officially back together, and the couple has kept a relatively low-key social media appearance. Save for one (adorable) Valentine’s Day tribute, Zayn hasn’t popped up too much on Gigi’s IG — but he was certainly a VIP guest at the model’s 25th birthday celebration this past week.

Gigi hit the big birthday milestone on April 23, and according to some latergrams shared on her feed, it looks like she rang in the special day with Zayn by her side. “Had the sweetest day celebrating my 25th birthday with my quarantine family, who made it so special for me, along with all the love I felt from all over the world!” the model wrote on IG, alongside several pics.

In another post, Gigi shared a boomerang of herself holding oversized 2-5 balloons, standing alongside Zayn and her sister Bella. The clip shows the trio huddled together on a deck, with everyone looking cozy in warm sweaters and coats. Gigi also posted a clip of herself and Zayn hugging on her IG story, which has since been recaptured and shared by fans.

It sure seems as though Gigi’s birthday was a special one. Bella went all out with a princess-themed party, including an elaborate cake shaped like a bagel, made by the Cake Boss himself, Buddy Valastro. “I CRIED REAL TEARS!” Gigi wrote on Instagram about the surprise dessert. “BUDDY! This is a dream come true. I can’t believe you made this cake for me while the bakery is closed. It means more to me than you know, and when we hopefully meet some day you will truly know that there almost isn’t an episode I’ve missed.”

With Zayn, Bella, and the rest of her family in attendance, it’s clear that Gigi will always have special memories of the big 2-5. “I am grateful and lucky that my family and friends — near and far — are healthy and safe, and although I missed loved ones I wish I could have celebrated with, know that these times will make us even more grateful for togetherness to be had in the future!” the model said. “I will never forget my 25th bday!”
