This weekend, high-fashion couple Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik were spotted out and about in N.Y.C., where they were celebrating Malik's 25th birthday. While some people might don formal wear for this momentous event, these two went a more unconventional route—to say the least!
The lovebirds headed out in the Big Apple wearing coordinated all-black, futuristic looks that could have been straight out of The Matrix movies. The birthday boy wore an ankle-length black coat, paired with quirky white circular sunglasses, while his 22-year-old girlfriend opted for a patent leather trench coat, black snakeskin pants, and tiny black sunglasses. Their vibes were definitely inspired by Neo and Trinity from The Matrix.
Hadid also posted an adorably sweet tribute to her main man on Instagram, including several pictures of them together.
"Love this man more than I could ever put into words, & am inspired by his drive to be and do better everyday," she wrote. "cheers to YOUR YEAR my @zayn - happiest happiest birthday & 25th year of life."
