Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik Have a "Loving and Caring" Relationship Post-Split

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik were private about their romance when they were together, and have continued to stay radio-silent about their relationship following their split last year—but a source says the exes are still getting along and coparenting their daughter.

They "have a loving and caring relationship despite being broken up," the source told Us Weekly, and they "don’t hate each other, that’s for sure."

Hadid and Malik broke up in October 2021, after the "PILLOWTALK" singer had an alleged spat with the model's mother, Yolanda Hadid. At the time, they were living together in Hadid's Pennsylvania farm home.

Since, Malik has reportedly moved out and they have continued to share time with their 21-month-old daughter, Khai.

"They’re not living together, but Zayn visits Gigi and Khai at the farm in Pennsylvania a lot when they’re there," the source told Us Weekly. "They like to spend time away from the city because it’s more safe, quiet, and exclusive."

The source added that while "coparenting comes with certain challenges and ups and downs," Hadid and Malik are "doing the best they can to make it work." And despite their split, they both want to ensure Khai is still "very much part" of her father’s life.

This Father's Day, Hadid confirmed she's still on good terms with Malik by praising him on her Instagram. On her Story, she first shared a throwback photo of her and her dad, writing, "Happy Fathers Day to my sweet baba. I love you!"

She then shared a photo of Malik playing with their daughter. "& to Khai’s baba!!!!" she wrote in the caption.
